Indonesia Archipelago - Riau

It is very early today, I collect my ticket for Christmas holidays. I don't know, suddenly I remember long time ago, we used to celebrate Christmas in our hometown in Riau, Duri. I was born there and grow up in other cities, Medan then moved to Bandung and then Jakarta. Riau is very close to Singapore, but it has many small islands around which is called "Kepulauan Riau". There are 16 parts of Riau which are called Kabupaten and Kota. There are Kabupaten Bengkalis, Kabupaten Indragiri Hilir, Kabupaten Indragiri Hulu, Kabupaten Kampar, Kabupaten Karimun, Kabupaten Riau. Kepulauan,Kabupaten Kuantan Singingi, Kabupaten Natuna, Kabupaten Pelalawan, Kabupaten Rokan Hi lir, Kabupaten Rokan Hulu, Kabupaten Siak, Kota Batam, Kota Dumai, Kota Pekanbaru, Kota Tanjung Pinang. Kabupaten Riau kepulauan have some island like Batam, Bintan, and many more island. The indigenous people or aboriginal tribe in Riau (orang Riau) is "suku Sakai". Some research said that ancestor of Suku sakai is "non Malay" and other said "Malay". It is still a mystery until today.
