    Traveler

Two weeks ago, I have to go to Manila for a meeting but at the end the trip was cancelled. My flight was confirmed but no hotel available, all company preference hotel fully booked. I am a little surprise as no hotel available. In the same week, my friend called me because she can not book any hotel in Singapore under her company preference company,so she asked to call the hotel as they already called for hours but the line almost busy all hours. I did try to call the hotel as she requested, but at the end the hotel informed me, the hotel fully booked the whole week. I am just feel surprise that what happen that week, why hotel in Singapore and Manila was fully booked. The following week, I plan to go to New Delhi, the direct flight was fully booked, so try a flight which was transit in Bombay, but I was surprised the hotel fully booked in New Delhi. And today, I met the friend who transit in Singapore on the way back to Jakarta from Hongkong, she mentioned she almost can not get the hotel in Hongkong because all hotel fully booked. We come to conclusion what happen to the world, is that hotel fully booked for most of the week days in Manila, Singapore, New Delhi and Hongkong ? I read once in the newspaper about what happen that now many people travel every where in global but in some country where a lot of business activity, many people travel to but the local country/their government do not develop new hotel for the traveler. So, end up every week is fully booked especially under corporate hotel. Does it means the people travel everywhere....?

Italian food is more favorite in US ???

I was really hungry that day after returned back from training center, so we decided to go for a dinner to the closest restaurant around the Hotel in Schaumburg. Take a walk around 100 meter, cross the road and we reach a Italian restaurant. I guess, they seems to serve a very delicious food because all around the waiting area, we saw many people waiting. We talked to a person in the front, wanna take a eat there, then he said , could you wait for 25 minutes ?. I suddenly said, what ???, 25 minutes...Is that so long and he said sorry. So we finally decided to go to opposite restaurant. I ordered my favorite salmon grill with a mushroom soup, the taste more like Italian or France with a triangle plate quite antic, but it is delicious. Just great, I think. But along our talks, we are curious how come it takes so long to wait for that Italian restaurant. So, next day we crossed that restaurant again, wow...Many people queue. I thought, if the food is very delicious, people will be queue for it, at least my experience here in Singapore. Then, the last day we crossed again that restaurant, long queue again...And again ??. Does Italian restaurant has a very delicious food in US ? I am curious until today.

    Next Celebration "Christmas"

This view days, I am searching for new digital camera as my old camera already out dated I think. The latest resolution have up to 8 Megapixel and 12x optical zoom & 3x digital zoom. My choice should be at least: pocket size, 7-8 Megapixel or more, ISO 50 to 500 and optical zoom 6x. But after going every where, seems to be I decided to wait until the Christmas great sales come and more discount.
The downtown area is busy preparing for Christmas lights and people as usual crowded today and take picture. Here in Singapore, The mall always have the competition for the best Christmas tree/decoration. Every year, they change the decoration and it is the chance to take the best picture every year for people.

    The week of full Celebrations

This week is completely full of the many celebrations, from Halloween, Deepavali/Diwali and then Ramadan. We have the official day off from Monday to Thursday only for this week, so I take a chance for photo hunting around the town. On the way back home, I saw many young teenager with the variety of cloths for the Halloween party. If, I remembered Halloween, my think always goes to pumpkin, so I decided to cook a Chinese soup with pumpkin which is one of my favorite. It was the funny part of Halloween that day, to be just fun. I wasn't interested to take their picture at that night, as rain was just started.
The next day, I went to Little India which is the most popular place for Indian to celebrate Deepavali. The place is very crowed, especially the jewelry place. This Diwali which leads into Truth and Light is celebrated on a nation-wide scale on Amavasya - the 15th day of the dark fortnight of the Hindu month of Ashwin (Aasho) (October/November) every year.
It symbolises that age -old culture of a country which teaches to vanquish ignorance that subdues humanity and to drive away darkness that engulfs the light of knowledge.
Diwali, the festival of lights even to-day in this modern world projects the rich and glorious past of the country and teaches to uphold the true values of life. Read more ....

To whoever visitor, who visit this blog, I would like to thank and Happy Halloween and Happy Deepavali.
